Owners Bradley and Barbara Goodman have been restauranteurs since 1986. Formerly a fine dining team, they owned and operated a seasonal restaurant for 12 years in the elegant Beech Alpen Inn on Beech Mountain North Carolina. In the off season, Spring and Fall, they lived in their other seasonal home, Wilmington NC. In 1999, Bradley came up with the idea for an upscale grill and Tazy’s Burgers and Grill was born.
Bradley has been a chef for 30 years, working in some of the finest restaurants in the country and in our area. He was the Executive Chef at the former Peppermill Restaurant and at the Blockade Runner at Wrightsville Beach. He is an avid surfer and has traveled all over the world looking for the perfect wave. He is also a golfer and likes to hit the links as often as possible. ( if there aren’t any waves!)
Barbara has worked in the restaurant business for 24 years and has also worked in quite a few restaurants in this area including J. Michael‘s Philly Deli and the former Burrito Bobs Mexican Restaurant. She is in charge of the “front of the house” so if you need anything while eating at Tazy’s just ask and she will be happy to accommodate you. (I’ll bet after you have come in once or twice she will also remember your name!)
